GameDay Warden ("we", "us") is a party task coordination app that helps hosts assign and track items guests are bringing to game day gatherings. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

  • Party details: party name, host name, optional host email, and game time you provide.
  • Task details: task names, emoji, assignee names, and status updates.
  • Share codes: the short code used to let others view a party.
  • Usage data: anonymous analytics such as page views and button taps to improve the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and display your party and tasks.
  • To enable sharing via links and codes.
  • To send optional updates if you provide an email.
  • To understand usage and improve features.

4. SMS Notifications

GameDay Warden offers optional SMS notifications. If you voluntarily opt in by checking the SMS consent box (and, for task assignees, by replying YES to a confirmation text) and providing your mobile number, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from GameDay Warden. Message types: party invitations, task assignments, game-day reminders, and party status updates. Message frequency: up to 10 messages per party. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of using GameDay Warden. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

5. Data Sharing

Party data is visible to anyone with the share link or code. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.

6. Data Retention

Completed parties and their tasks are automatically removed after five days to keep things tidy.

7. Your Choices

You can clear a saved party from your device at any time from the home screen. Avoid including sensitive personal details in party or task names.
